ABOUT ME
I am a wife and mother of three sons who lives in Dripping Springs, Texas in the midst of a close-knit family. A native Texan whose ancestry goes back to one of Stephen F. Austin’s Old Three Hundred colonists, I have an abiding love of the Lone Star State. From the dusty plains of West Texas to the Lost Pines of Smithville, I am particularly interested in capturing the character and spirit of the landscape of Texas and the people who inhabit it. I was inspired by my husband Ted’s youthful adventures in writing A Summer Song, which is my debut novel. Eastland Street, my upcoming book, chronicles the struggles and triumphs of a young family in the oilfield town of Odessa in the early 1960s.
